I'll be honest with you. As an appraiser, I am not in the business of marketing. In a pre-listing, open market situation, a real estate agent might serve you better. They will often come out to your property and give you an estimate of listing price for free. They will have a better grasp on pre-sale activity not available to an appraiser.
